Reaching A Milestone
In 1983 Marc Marques and Troy Collier were sent out from Warwick Assembly of God in
Hampton, VA, to document the plight of street children in Fortaleza, a city on the north-east coast of Brazil.
Almost 40 years ago, this trip was the birth of CBC.
We know that CBC is close to your heart, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this milestone in 2023. We are looking for volunteers to create a 40th Anniversary Events Committee. Would you like to share ideas and/or help us plan some special events?
In particular, we are looking for a Volunteer Events Coordinator to join our CBC team and organize some special ways to celebrate this milestone year.
