Missions Teams Returning

After the closures of the pandemic and all the uncertainty of travel which followed, CBC will finally see a return to hosting missions teams this year.

We have groups of missions teams coming out in September, October and November. They will be participating in Children’s Day, our Big Thanksgiving Family Lunch and all the daily activities and classes which we offer to our students.

Until April 2025, Americans can travel to Brazil as a tourist without a visa. We typically host missions teams of 8-16 people for around 10 days. This is a good amount of time to factor in travel, adjustment and experience a normal week at CBC.

US flights go from hubs like New York, Houston or Atlanta to Sao Paulo in the south of Brazil. Then, teams jump on a domestic flight from Sao Paulo back up to Fortaleza where Marc and Ruth will meet them at the airport. The journey takes approximately 24 hours. There are some shorter flights directly from Miami to Fortaleza.

Interested in coming but don’t have a missions team?

No problem, please let us know. It may be possible for us to connect you with other individuals wanting to make a visit. Please email: ruth.k.marques@thechannel.org

We have application forms and orientation information.

We can promise you that an international experience in Brazil will be life-changing. It is by far the best way to fully understand the ministry of Channel to Brazil for Christ and see what God is doing in the lives of the children.

Please pray about it. May God richly bless you this month.

We recommend trips 7-14 days in length to allow the team to adjust to the new environment and culture, so they can fully embrace their experience.
