New Oven
| Thanks to everyone who has donated towards our oven campaign. So far we have raised $3,000 of the $15,000 needed to buy this electric oven. It will help us cater for 260 children and 20 staff and volunteers everyday. In this video, Marc explains how our current oven is too small and old to meet our growing needs. Please take a look and consider making a donation. Our goal is to have our new oven installed before our big family lunch in November this year. It was recently reported in the local news that poverty in our State of Ceará is the worst that it has been for 10 years. Over 1.5 million people are living on less than $1 per day. Our students are hungry and they need good nutrition for their physical development and to be able to concentrate in the classroom.
