Balloon
A deflated balloon is no fun! Our students worked this out in a recent chapel service at CBC.
Our lives might feel deflated if we are not filled with the purpose and joy that comes from knowing Jesus.
In the chapel service, we had the children hold balloons they had just blown up.
Their breath represents the importance of filling their lives with God’s presence.
John 15:4 says, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”
Our staff works, prays, and seeks the Lord for wisdom and guidance daily to reach the children. We want them to understand the love of Jesus and the practical teachings of faith.
The balloon is just one analogy to help them see the tangible fruit of what they put into their lives and what they pour out.
Pray with us that God will meet them in exciting ways. He will encourage them to dream big and see the plans that they were created for.
