Allen gives his testimony

My name is Allen Smith, I am a US Navy veteran, a proud husband, and stay at home father to two amazing boys.

From wheels up in Norfolk to wheels up in Brazil our trip was blessed and beautiful. Our arrival at the CBC campus was a very welcome one, and it was evident that we weren’t just some faces showing up, we were welcome guests.

My friend and teammate Adam and I had the opportunity to work alongside some of the instructors on campus and with Marc to teach the kids some basic mechanical and electrical skills. It was an amazing experience to watch the kids grasp these new concepts so easily, they were hungry to learn! I hope these lessons spark a new drive in some of these kids. Helping them to choose a bright future for themselves, but also the community around them.

That is what makes CBC so special, it is a lighthouse in the community, working diligently to pour its bright light on the children that attend, brightening a future that can seem dim for those that live there.

Thank you, CBC, for this amazing opportunity. Keep up the work of the Lord and keep looking towards the future with the zeal and vision for a brighter tomorrow – you inspire me to do the same.

With great Appreciation,

Allen Smith
