DIMENSIONS OF EDUCATIONAL POVERTY
Educational poverty impacts 60% of children in Brazil. It includes low literacy levels and poor-quality schooling. The result is that the poor are stuck in low- income jobs. Raising the quality of education is the most important factor in reducing poverty.
Springing Up
Righteousness and Praise!
For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations. Isaiah 61:11
As the nature of soil creates growth, it is God’s nature to bring forth righteousness and praise to the ends of the earth. And the gift of grace through Christ Jesus
invites us to be a part of bringing goodness, joy, and all the fruits of the Spirit into our world. Reaching out to the poor and needy is part of God’s nature. God is love.
There is nothing more beautiful than watching a child at CBC worshipping the Lord. It is a sight that makes time stand still. It is an image of righteousness and praise springing up from darkness.
This spring, we invite you to join us again in raising the funds we need for CBC in 2026. Our fundraising goal is $50,000. Between us, it is very achievable. Come with us on our journey of bringing life, hope, and opportunity to our students this year. Through videos, news, photos, and mission trips, we invite you to be a part of this ministry.
We are delighted to report that Silvia has been discharged from her medical team and is coming back to work at CBC. She is regaining strength, and she is cancer free. Thank you for your prayers. Praise God!

March Prayer / Praise
Please pray for a child who has epilepsy and several other health challenges.
He needs access to specialized healthcare and special educational services, both of which are difficult to find in the slums.
