Prayer / Praise
As we enter into the month of September, we ask that you please be praying for the CBC property, equipment and security, as well as, safety, funding, and growth.
Also pray for the safety of everyone in CBC, the caretakers, cleaners and kitchen staff.

Even as Daniel feared for his life, he worshipped God and prayed for wisdom.
Brazil is in a season of change related to international trade. This is causing uncertainty, unemployment, and very high inflation.
Please pray with us for the poor who are fearful and vulnerable.
As always, CBC seeks to offer a pathway out of poverty. May God give us wisdom as we serve in this changing season.
One More For The Dream
CBC has always focused on changing a child’s life by challenging them to dream. That’s how we came up with the word DreamBUILDERS for our monthly givers. Help us find one more DreamBUILDER this fall.

Keep Warm With A New CBC Hoodie
The term ‘Dream On’ is often used ironically to communicate that what someone is hoping for is unlikely to happen. But DREAMING ON is the core of our mission for each child.
At our recent professions fair, this group of 8th & 9th graders shared their research into healthcare professions. Many of our children see physical suffering and speak about wanting to be a Doctor or Nurse. Activities like this help to consolidate dreams and really inspire our students to study for a life goal.
We believe each monthly gift, each class, each healthy meal is building a future and a dream.
With our DREAM ON hoodies, you can spark a conversation, tell your friends about CBC, and invite them to dream on with us as a monthly Dream BUILDER.
There is no ‘Fall’ in Fortaleza
Did you know that Fortaleza’s equatorial climate will bring plenty of sunshine and increasingly high temperatures until Christmas?
Our children have never seen the colors of fall or jumped in piles of crunchy leaves!
The Giggles
It happens to us here in Brazil, too. Sometimes you just get the giggles, and there is no holding it back!
