But teacher, I have no family

There is a lot going on behind the smile of the little boy in this photo with his hands on Ruth’s shoulders. After announcing the family lunch he came to us to say that he had no family to bring. He was abandoned by both his parents and receives virtually no care from the extended family with whom he lives.

Immediately our music teacher Stephen replied to him by asking “Will you let me have the honor of being your family and sitting with you at a table?’’ The little boy was delighted and said yes straight away.
